How Do I Return My Purchase For A Refund or Exchange?

At Melon, we are dedicated to delivering premium eyewear and accessories to our customers. We understand that sometimes, you may need to return a product for various reasons. To ensure a smooth return process, please check out our returns policy below:

1. Eligibility for Returns:

You have the right to return any purchase made from Melon Optics within 365 days from the date of purchase, provided that the product is unused and remains in its original condition. All returned products must be accompanied by their original packaging, tags, and any included accessories.

2. Restocking Fee for Custom Products:

Please be aware that all custom products, such as custom sunglasses, goggles, or other personalized items, are subject to a restocking fee of £10/€10 per pair. This fee is implemented to cover the costs associated with the custom building and, where applicable, disassembling of products. In some cases, full disassembly may not be possible, hence the fee. There are no fees if you return items that are not customised i.e. tees, cases, limited edition models that have no customisation.

3. Return Shipping Costs:

We do not offer free returns, because there is a cost involved both economically and environmentally to returning items. We hope that by not offering free return shipping it will encourage our customers to make more conscious purchasing decisions. The cost of shipping any products back to Melon Optics is therefore the responsibility and at the cost of the customer. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method to ensure safe return transit.

4. Initiating a Return:



To initiate a return, please complete our returns forms via the links below. Once you have completed the form you will receive an email with details on how to complete your return.

  • 3rd party retailers: If you purchased your Melon product through one of our licensed retailers and require a refund, please contact the original point of purchase.

5. Refund Process:

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days from the date we receive the returned product. The refund amount will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase, minus any applicable restocking fees (for custom products). Please note that it may take a few additional days for the refunded amount to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.



6. Warranty Claims:

For products that you believe to be defective or that may be covered under warranty, please refer to our warranty policy for detailed instructions on submitting a warranty claim.
